There is a legal requirement on all employers to prepare a Fire Safety Emergency Plan. Fire Wardens or Marshal are designated the responsivity of executing the fire safety emergency plan in the event of a fire emergency. This course is designed to meetthe requirements of the 1981 Fire Services Act and Regulation 9 of the Health Safety & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
This course aims to inform the designated fire safety warden / marshal of their responsibilities relating to fire safety and plans, along with the skills and knowledge enabling them to act responsibly and safely in an emergency.

- Fire Regulations & Precautions
- Actions on discovering a Fire
- Fire Safety Plans
- The role of a fire marshal
- Emergency procedures, pre and post emergency
- Compartmentation
- Evacuation & Escape
All attendees will receive certification on successful completion of the course.
Duration: 3.5 hours (can be completed on same day as Basic Fire Safety Course)

Certification: Choice Training & Consultancy Certificate valid for 2 years
